About the awards

The Premier's Public Sector Awards formally recognise and reward outstanding performance and achievement by the New South Wales public sector. They:

• encourage continuous improvement of systems by teams and individuals to enable better delivery of services to the public
• encourage informed reflection on the sector's performance
• recognise success and promote excellence
• identify better management practices, leading to innovation, reform and change.

The awards are open to all NSW public sector agencies, including departments, authorities, government trading enterprises, commissions, boards, and State Owned Corporations.
